Why I Do What I Do
One of the most meaningful parts of my work is the connection I build with the people I photograph. During each session, as we chat and get to know each other, I start to see something truly special—a beauty that often goes unnoticed by the person in front of my lens. And I get the honour of capturing that.
There’s nothing quite like the moment when I show someone the images we’ve created together—and they finally see themselves the way I see them.
Because real beauty isn’t about fitting a mold or being “traditionally” attractive. It’s about the strength you’ve shown, the stories you carry, and the light that shines through the cracks. It’s the rose that bloomed from the ashes. That’s what I strive to capture.
